Information we collect

When you open a shortened link, the service records a pseudonymous visitor identifier derived from limited connection information, the access time, general device category, and the referrer hostname when available. If configured behind Cloudflare, a country code may be stored. The service does not store your raw IP address in its visit records, although normal server and infrastructure logs may include IP addresses.

Why we use it

We use this information to show traffic statistics, maintain service reliability, identify abuse and protect visitors.

Cookies

A necessary, secure session cookie keeps track of your navigation countdown and helps prevent repeated submissions. We do not require visitors to create an account.

Third-party content

Independent articles may use third-party advertising only when separately enabled and appropriately disclosed. The short-link gateway does not display advertisements.

Retention and contact

Visit records remain until the administrator deletes them or applies a retention policy. Before going live, the administrator should add a public contact email and a documented deletion schedule in this policy.
